RAINMAKER was formerly named project/yacht name Wanderin Star. This 34 m (113 foot) luxury yacht was created by Westport Shipyard in 2000. Motor Yacht RAINMAKER is a well proportioned superyacht. The naval architecture office responsible for this yacht's design work on this ship was Jack Sarin. Her initial interior was the brain child of Sheryl Guyan / Pacific Custom Interiors. Jack Sarin was the naval architect firm involved in the professional vessel design work for RAINMAKER. Also the company Jack Sarin expertly worked on this venture. Interior designer Sheryl Guyan / Pacific Custom Interiors was selected for the overall interior ambience. the United States is the country that Westport Shipyard completed their new build motor yacht in. After her formal launch in 2000 in Westport Wa she was released to the happy owner after sea trials and testing. The hull was constructed with composite. The motor yacht main superstructure is fabricated largely using composite. With a beam of 7.13 m / 23.4 feet RAINMAKER has moderate internal space. A fairly shallow draught of 1.68m (5.5ft) limits the amount of ports she can visit, taking into account their minimum characteristics.
Engines & Speeds On M/Y RAINMAKER:
The 16V 2000 M90 engine installed in the motor yacht is produced by MTU. Connected to her MTU engine(s) are twin screw propellers. The main engine of the ship creates 1800 horse power (or 1325 kilowatts). She is fitted with 2 engines. The combined power for the boat is therefore 3600 HP or 2650 KW. With respect to stabalisers she uses Naiad. The bow thrusters are Wesmar.
