Created at Nv Amsterdamsche Scheepswerf G De Vries Lentsch Jr the vessel was fabricated in the recognised yachting country the Netherlands. She was officially launched in Nieuwendam in 1977 before being handed over to the owner. Her core hull was built out of steel.
