ZAZOU Benetti | From EUR€ 645,000 /wk

Italian shipyard Benetti launched the fully custom 65m/213ft luxury yacht ZAZOU from its shipyard in Livorno in late April 2021. The Owner is a repeat Benetti customer and requested that the steel hull be painted in a beautiful carinthia blue, contrasting with the brilliant white aluminium superstructure and adding a modern twist on a traditional colour scheme. The dynamic external styling was created by Giorgio M. Cassetta with naval architecture from the shipyard and interiors by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design

NOTABLE FEATURES OF ZAZOU: ~Sundeck infinity pool ~Alfresco cinema ~Main salon cinema ~Upper deck massage room convertible to VIP stateroom ~Beach club ~Lift/elevator ~Air conditioning ~Wi-Fi

Up on the sundeck, there is a large infinity pool 5m/16.4ft long and 1.5m/4.9ft deep up near the bow, while amidships the shade offers a gym, pantry day head, bar and alfresco dining area to seat 10. The stern has plenty of seating to relax in the sunshine, and can be used as an outdoor cinema in the evenings.

INTERIOR

The interiors from Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design feature custom built furniture, bespoke cabinet handles and drawer pulls, and stately chandeliers and other light fixtures to create the desired ambiance after nightfall. Different varieties of wood (oak, walnut, anigrè, macassar ebony, wengè and rosewood) and marble (travertine, navona, statuary, eramosa, bardiglio, white elba, sahara noire, white onyx) have been used throughout the complement the soft colour scheme.

On the lower deck, there is a beach club in the stern that provides storage space for water toys along with a lounge area where there is a sofa, armchairs and a coffee table. The aft opens out onto a spacious swim platform, and the port bulwark folds down to create another terrace above the water. The guest accommodation is placed amidships, forward of which is a modern galley, and accommodation for 14 crew members is placed in the forward section. The guest foyer has a lift (elevator) which connects three decks, terminating on the upper deck.

The main deck hosts the Master suite forward, with the main foyer amidships and the formal dining area and main salon behind. The main salon can be used alternatively as an indoor cinema, for passing the time while cruising or winding down at the end of a busy day.

Positive Customer Review: "One of the most memorable parts for me was the launch. I went with my wife, and Benetti had a Roman Catholic priest bless the yacht. It was very beautiful with all the Italian music and then the British national anthem, and it was all very unexpected. I thought I was just going to be putting the boat in the water, but in fact it turned into a very emotional day!" - Owner of a Benetti called motor yacht 11:11
