With launch in 2014, superyacht Alive (hull 17042) is a striking 42-metre displacement vessel, built by the leading Dutch shipyard, Heesen Yachts. Boasting a bow design that combines a lower hull profile and matches sea keeping behaviour with a relatively short overall length, luxury motor yacht Alive has been entirely designed by renowned Omega Architects, with naval architecture by Van Oossanen Naval Architects.

Heesen superyacht Alive can comfortably sleep 12 guests in total. The Owners have two suites: one positioned on the upper deck aft, which includes a gymnasium, and the second suite is traditionally located on the main deck fore and has a balcony on the starboard side, a studio and a large walk-in closet. The guest area on the lower deck features two twins and two double cabins, all with private ensuite bathrooms. The guests are looked after by a friendly and dedicated crew of 10 professionals.

Super yacht Alive (YN17042) represents the first vessel of the Heesen 42 meter series boasting a further development of Van Oossanen Naval Architects’ Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF), as well as the first application of the Hull Vane. Alive thus requires 35% less power than any comparable yacht.

Featuring a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, the 42-metre luxury yacht Alive (hull 17042) by Heesen is equipped with twin MTU 12V 2000 M72 diesels, delivering her a top speed of 15,9 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots. ABS classed and MCA compliant, she has a beam of 9m (29'53'') and a maximum draught of 2,60m (8'53'').
