The New Build & Naval Architecture for Luxury Yacht JANIE II

Don Shead was the naval architect involved in the technical nautical design work for JANIE II. Her interior design was completed by Inigo Echenique/Pavlik Design/Innovative Creations. Don Shead is also associated with the yacht general design work for this boat. Spain is the country that Astilleros Mefasa completed their new build motor yacht in. After official launch in 1992 in San Juan De Nieva she was afterwards passed over to the owner after final finishing. A spacious area is manifested with a widest beam (width) of 8 metres or 26.2 feet. With a 2.1m (6.9ft) draught (maximum depth) she is shallow. The material aluminium was used in the building of the hull of the motor yacht. Her superstructure above deck is created out of aluminium. In 1999 extra refit work and modernisation was in addition finished.
