Catamaran CALMAO has everything on board for a fantastic family holiday or special occasion in the world's favourite luxury yacht charter grounds. Her on board facilities and accommodation are designed for a group of up to nine charter guests while the professional crew of three take care of every little detail. The interiors

Luxury catamaran CALMOA was built in 2017 by renowned luxury catamaran builder Sunreef Yachts. Although she only has an L.O.A. of 22.6m/74ft, a broad beam of 10.5m/34.5ft grants more space on board compared to a monohull of similar size, and the two hulls ensure excellent stability for a peaceful night's rest.

The interiors come from the shipyard use a neutral colour palette and natural materials and textures to create a harmonious environment perfect for starting the day refreshed and ending with a muted gathering under the golden lights. At the heart of it all is the galley with wet bar and plush sofa seating with two fold-out tables to suit as lounge or dining area as desired. 360-degree windows let in plenty of natural light and ensure that the group has sweeping views of the surroundings, while the climate-controlled interior keeps guests comfortable in the heat of the day.

The guest accommodation is placed in the port and starboard hulls, which are designed to offer spacious en-suite cabins naturally lit by skylights as well as large windows.

The exteriors

Sun worshippers and nature lovers will want to spend every possible moment enjoying the outdoor facilities. The sun-exposed foredeck can be accessed straight from the interior salon and treats guests and visitors to a double sunbed to port, a single to starboard and a recessed corner sofa with drinks table to admire the sunset with a nightcap. The two net trampolines on the bow will prove a hit with children and they make a wonderful additional spot to sunbathe or view the stars.

The main deck aft takes advantage of the shade the flybridge overhang provides for an all-day alfresco dining and lounging area with direct access down the hulls to the sea. Two more double sunbeds can be found here and the flybridge has even more on offer, along with a large alfresco dining area with a U-shaped sofa for the fresh sea breeze and elevated views.

The water toys

S/Y CALMAO comes with a wonderful selection of water toys designed to suit a range of ages and intensity levels:

2 x double kayaks
2 x paddleboards
1 x Yamaha underwater scooter
a wakeboard
water skis
snorkelling equipment, and
inflatable and towable toys

As of the time of writing, charter guests can also opt to add a jet ski to the selection at an extra cost a week when located in the Mediterranean.

There is also a stationary bike on board to keep up an exercise routine in the evenings and while cruising.

The accommodation

The wide beam of S/Y CALMAO ensures that there is an abundance of space on board for up to 12 guests while cruising and at anchor. The overnight accommodation is designed for smaller family and friends groups, sleeping a total of 9 guests across 4 spacious en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite, 2 double cabins and 1 twin cabin with a Pullman berth.

The Master suite amidships and forward in the starboard hull treats its occupants to the largest cabin on board, furnished with a king-sized bed, widescreen TV, desk/vanity, and abundance of wardrobe space and an en-suite bathroom with twin sinks, a toilet and shower.

Although the double cabins cannot compete with the Master suite for volume, they are both still spacious and luxurious within, with a sumptuous queen-sized bed, widescreen TV, large wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom with a sink, toilet and shower.

Uncommonly for any luxury yacht, the twin cabin has two sinks and a more spacious bathroom than the double cabins. This is designed for the comfort and convenience of the occupants when all three berths are in use.
In addition to the guest cabins, there are 2 crew cabins to sleep the crew of 3, away from the guest accommodation to prevent any disturbances.
