Yacht Charter Description

Sailing yacht SIGNE is a 35.05m (115') beautifully created classic yacht built by Renaissance Yachts, Maine in 1990. The superyacht Signe took 5 years to construct and the well maintained displacement ketch has also received major refits since. S/Y Signe is one of the most graceful yachts to come from the creative and technical skills of Bruce King and features interior design by Joe Artese.



Yacht Signe boasts outstanding interior joinery, designed by Joe Artese. Featuring blend of Hawaiian Koa, bird’s eye maple and olive wood, combined with her teak soles and her beautifully laminated beams, she certainly is a work of art.

The classic sailing yacht Signed’ hull and decks are constructed from the wood/epoxy system, creating a structure that is immensely strong with excellent insulation. She also has the advantage of a large centreboard providing excellent windward performance and stability whilst down (with a 22' (6.40m) draft) and allowing access to shallow harbours and bays when raised (with a 9'2" (2.80m) draft). The yacht Signe has a ketch rig with hydraulic furling to both masts and hydraulic furling headsails.

Sailing yacht Signe is meticulously maintained and received an extensive refurbishment and refit in 2005 which included all new interior fabrics, exterior paint and varnish, and a mechanical overhaul, and a refit in 2009 which included a new air conditioning system and new refrigeration system.

In 2009, S/Y SIGNE received a new Main, Mizzen, Yankee and Staysails. The new custom made Isostrain laminated sails by Quantum are proven to be lighter and stronger than their competitors, providing higher performances and resistance in all types of weather conditions.

Yacht Signe charters in the Mediterranean during the summer months and the Caribbean during the winter. The yacht is sure to turn heads in each location, with passers-by often photographing her transom, while in port or her graceful lines while underway.

Singe has an experienced crew of 5.

Yacht Charter Accommodation

Sailing yacht SIGNE is able to sleep a maximum of 6 charter guests. Her Master cabin offers a queen size bed with a couch and is located aft. To starboard there is a double cabin with a 110 x 200 cm bed. On the port side there is a twin cabin with occasional 2 Pullmans. The yacht is ideally suited for 6 guests however Pullmans can be used by request for nannies or children.

Sail yacht SIGNE has the following Tenders & Toys onboard: A Zodiac Tender, outboard: 4.7 meters – 90hp (New - 2009), an Ocean Kayak for 2 pax (not inflatable) (New - 2009), 2 pairs of water-skis (adult size), 2 wakeboards, a kneeboard, a donut. Communications include Internet access is by Wi-Fi in Port.
