The motor yacht THE ARK is a 36 metre 119 (ft) well proportioned wooden boat which was manufactured by Gravdals Skibsbyggeri and her design plans were devised by Gravdals Skibsbyggeri. This graceful boat was envisaged from naval architects Gravdals Skibsbyggeri.
New Build & Yacht Design relating to Luxury Yacht THE ARK
Gravdals Skibsbyggeri was the naval architect firm involved in the formal vessel plans for THE ARK. Gravdals Skibsbyggeri is also associated with the yacht general design work for this yacht. In 1939 she was formally launched to accolade in Sunde and following sea trials and finishing touches was afterwards passed on to the new owner. Gravdals Skibsbyggeri completed their new build motor yacht in Norway. A fairly large area is manifested with a total beam (width) of 8.23 metres or 27 ft. The material wooden was used in the building of the hull of the motor yacht. Her superstructure over the hull is built from wood. In 1992 extra refitting and modernisation was also performed.
