Luxury yacht SUNSEEKER 8X from British shipyard Sunseeker is the first of a new generation of larger models from the shipyard, with the first hull launching in autumn 2020 and measuring between 80- to 90-foot (24.4- to 27.4-meter). Sporting an innovative beach club that offers four times the space of a conventional model, two wet bars and an alfresco cinema on the foredeck, the SUNSEEKER 8X is well suited to entertaining with family and friends and offers accommodation for eight-to-ten guests over four-to-five cabins, depending on the layout selected. The crew of up to five will be on-hand to keep everything running at peak efficiency.

EXTERIOR

The lower deck swim platform connects to the spacious beach club, which offers four times the space of a regular beach club. Stairs connect up to the main deck aft, where glazed balustrades and a mesh privacy blind allow guests to modify their environment to suit while on the aft sunpad or dining in the shaded cockpit. There is also a wet bar with fridge, ice-maker and preparation space for cocktails and aperitifs to refresh guests.

The foredeck is furnished with a broad sunbed and for evening entertainment and the area can be equipped with a 140-inch cinema screen, laser projector and surround sound for entertaining under the stars.

The flybridge above has another wet bar with stools, a barbeque, helm drawer fridges, companion helm seating and the option of a hot tub. The carbon fibre canopy is fully retractable and can cover the entire dining and entertaining area.

INTERIOR

The interior styling from Sunseeker updates the timeless appearance with contemporary textures and a variety of natural materials, further enhanced by the floor-to-ceiling windows. 

The lower deck hosts the guest and crew accommodation, with the water toys storage aft of the engine room.

On the main deck to port there is a modular lounge and the formal dining area to seat eight is placed opposite. A galley can be fitted in the forward part of the room, which can be partitioned of for greater guest privacy. At the forward helm station, a 3.7m/12ft skylight increases the natural lighting to create an area desirable for relaxation at any time of the day.

Yacht Accommodation

Eight guests will find accommodation across four en-suite cabins, with the option of an additional cabin to sleep up to 10 guests. The original layout is comprised of 1 Master suite, 1 VIP stateroom and 2 twin cabins convertible to doubles. ~ The Master suite is placed amidships to take advantage of the full beam and has a wooden feature wall leading into the main bedroom area, where there is a king-sized bed with a mirror concealing a TV opposite, a curving sofa and a vanity. The 2.5m/8ft windows offer sweeping views of the surroundings and allow natural light to filter inside at any time of the day. In the en-suite, there are his-and-her sinks, back-lit framed mirrors and a free-standing Axor shower. ~ The VIP stateroom and both twin cabins have their own en-suite bathrooms and offer comfortable beds and entertainment systems. ~ The crew accommodation sleeps 4-5 pax. There is also a crew mess, en-suite, kitchenette and provision for two appliances.
