Motor yacht Southern Way III’s design incorporated her owners love of fishing, The aft and boat deck exterior lounges are protected by hardtops to encourage alfresco dining and relaxing regardless of the weather. The side decks are unhampered by fashion boards or steps which allow for light-tackle fishing and line-handling. Her interior is a combination of clean lines and complex details matched with fine woodworking; incorporating a number of wood species, colours, grains, joints, shapes and embellishments.

The yacht's wider design collaboration came from Ed Monk Yacht Design and Nolan Marine Design. The technical naval architect firm intellectual property are the work of Ed Monk Yacht Design. Motor Yacht SOUTHERN WAY III received her stylish interior designing from the interior design skills of Pokela Design. Built by Nordlund Boat the yacht was fabricated within the United States. She was officially launched in Tacoma Wa in 2005 before being transferred to the owner. Her core hull was built out of GRP composite.
