John G Alden Design was the naval architect firm involved in the professional superyacht plans for SEA GYPSY. John G Alden Design is also associated with the yacht wider design collaboration for this yacht. Built at Wj Morse the yacht was completed in the known yacht building country the United States. She was officially launched in Thomaston Me in 1929 before being handed over to the owner. A reasonable feeling is brought about with a widest beam (width) of 5.61 m or 18.4 ft.
