De Voogt Naval Architects was the naval architecture company involved in the professional nautical composition for MYLIN IV. Also the company De Voogt Naval Architects and Donald Starkey Designs skillfully collaborated on this venture. Interior designer Donald Starkey Designs was commissioned for the internal interior ambience. the Netherlands is the country that The Feadship Royal Van Lent Shipyard constructed their new build motor yacht in. After the formal launch in 1992 in Kaag she was then delivered on to the yacht owner following sea trials and testing. Her main hull was constructed with steel. The motor yacht main superstructure is made largely from aluminium. With a beam of 10.21 m / 33.5 ft MYLIN IV has spacious internal space. A deep draught of 3m (9.8ft) limits the list of harbours she can visit, taking into account their individual depth. She had refit improvement and modification undertaken in 2002.

The 12V 1163 TB63 engine installed in the motor yacht is produced by MTU. For propulsion MYLIN IV has twin screw propellers. The main engine of the ship produces 3755 horse power (or 2763 kilowatts).
