Measuring 52.10m (170' 11") in length over alL, WIND OF FORTUNE (ex Rio Frio, Matahari, Taipan, Taipan III, Pearl Star, North Star, and Awal) is a beautiful and elegant classic motor yacht built by the Italian shipyard CRN Ancona in 1981, restored in 2020 with interiors by Merritt Knowles Design Group. Welcoming deluxe accommodation is offered to up to 12 charter guests in 7 cabins, while a crew of 11 provides high-quality service for a relaxed charter holiday on board.

EXTERIOR

The main deck aft is beautifully furnished with a large wet bar to port and a U-shaped sofa to starboard that surrounds a raised table on three sides. Additional seating is placed along the stern, where guests can savour the views under covers that protect in all weather conditions. Side walkways lead around to the foredeck, where there is a sofa on the bow for guests to enjoy a quiet drink together at sundown.

Up on the sundeck, the forward section boasts a generous Jacuzzi surrounded by sunpads, while the shaded section amidships has a sofa and drinks table on both sides for casual alfresco dining. The aft section has mainly been left clear for guests to use for outdoor exercise, however there are bean bag loungers to port for guests to rest in the sunshine after a large alfresco lunch.

INTERIOR

The lower deck hosts the guest and crew accommodation along with the gym and water toys storage.

On the main deck, the formal dining area is separate from the main salon for a more intimate environment when celebrating a special occasion. The grand central table is ideal for holding conferences and the plush white chairs seat up to 14 guests. White marble top counters are placed on both sides of the room and traditional paintings further enhance the classic ambiance.

The main salon provides a TV entertainment area forward to port, where a corner sofa, aft-facing sofa, armchairs and a coffee table create a cosy environment for games and conversation. Another sofa is placed along the starboard wall, and behind to port a circular table and four chairs create a space for drinks and card games. An additional armchair is placed in this space for reading in comfort.

A pair of Mirless Blackstone ESL8 Mk1 engines produce a top speed of 13 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots.

Yacht Charter Accommodation

The accommodation sleeps a maximum of 12 guests across 7 en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite, 1 VIP stateroom and 5 twin cabins.  ~ The spacious Master suite comes with a king-sized bed, a recliner and a sofa, a desk, bookshelves and plenty of wardrobe space. In the en-suite bathroom, there is a sink, toilet and a bathtub with shower. ~ The crew of 11 will provide all guests on boar with the first-class service.
