Motor yacht SILVER SEAS is a beautiful classic-modern charter yacht built by the US shipyard Burger in 1998 and refitted in 2019. Measuring 32.61m (107’) with naval architecture by Don O’Keeffe, she is able to accommodate up to 8 guests in 4 beautifully-appointed suites.

EXTERIOR

The main deck aft has high bulwarks for increased safety with young children, and there are doors covering the stairs down to the swim platform. The main deck aft is fitted with a sofa, movable chairs and a raised table for alfresco dining in the shade.
Side walkways lead around to the foredeck, where there is a large sunbathing area placed in front of the raised pilothouse, and bench seating is placed around the bow.

The flybridge above stores the tender along the stern to be launched and retrieved using a Davit crane. Immediately forward is a sun-exposed space laid out with sun loungers, drinks tables and a barbeque grill, and a sun umbrella is available to shade this area. The amidships and forward section is sheltered by the hardtop and places a corner sofa with a triangular drinks table to port and starboard. The helm controls, pilot and co-pilot seats are forward.

INTERIOR

The lower deck layout hosts the guest and crew accommodation, with room for storing the collection of water toys.
On the main deck, the spacious galley is placed forward and there is a stairway connecting to the guest accommodation below. In addition to modern appliances and an island counter, there is a forward C-shaped sofa and elevated table for breakfast as a group beneath the windows. A widescreen TV is mounted on the wall to port.

The formal dining area and salon are behind the galley, and the former provides eight plush chairs around a large table to port with a forward wet bar and fridge for refreshments for all ages. To starboard between the formal dining area and lounge there are two armchairs and a side table for relaxation taking advantage of the light pouring through the large windows. Aft to port is a large aft-facing corner sofa and armchair with a coffee table, while a widescreen TV is integrated into the starboard cabinetry.

Above, the raised pilothouse has a cosy nook to port fitted with an L-shaped sofa where guests can rest with reading material and enjoy the views. A stairway to starboard leads up and out to the flybridge.

A pair of MTU 16V 2000 diesel engines produce a top speed of 22 knots, a cruising speed of 18 knots and a range of 3,000 nautical miles.

The accommodation sleeps a total of 8 guests over 4 en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite, 1 VIP stateroom and 2 twin cabins. ~ The Master suite is fitted with a queen-sized bed, plenty of wardrobe space, a widescreen TV on the wall and an en-suite bathroom providing a sink, toilet and a shower. ~ The VIP stateroom has a double bed and TV entertainment, along with excellent storage space and an en-suite bathroom with a sink, toilet and a shower. ~ Of the twin cabins, one has a bunk layout and both come with a widescreen TV, storage and an en-suite bathroom with a sink, toilet and shower.
