The 72m/236ft HYBRID EXPLORER YACHT is constructed by Damen Yachting in collaboration with Amels. Both the interior and exterior styling is the work of Michael Leach Design, with naval architecture and engineering by the Damen Yachting in-house team. The innovative modular stern section allows for additional battery banks for extended zero-emissions cruising in sensitive regions, or for an add-on swimming pool. The accommodation provides for 12 guests, plus up to 24 crew, staff and experts for tailor-made adventures. Delivery is set for early 2024.

EXTERIOR
The main deck aft has a double sofa/sunbed on both sides with central steps connecting to the lower deck swim platform below, which is spacious enough for sun loungers.
The upper deck has room for large tenders and water toys with a crane capable of lifting of 14 tonnes between them. The aft section is laid out with sofas and love seats around coffee tables for the whole group to relax with the sweeping views.
The bridge deck aft can be used as a viewing platform, and there is room for sun loungers along the stern.
The sundeck is on top of the raised pilothouse, and can be used as a sunbathing area as well as for observation.
The engines are fitted to a hybrid propulsion system with PTO/PTI hybrid electrical drives for zero emissions at a maximum speed of 8 knots.

INTERIOR
The interiors are the work of Michael Leach Design, and feature an Owner's deck. More details are expected to be released as the expedition yacht construction progresses.
Yacht Accommodation
The accommodation sleeps a total of 12 guests, with additional accommodation for up to 24 crew, staff and experts. The guest accommodation includes a Master suite as part of the Owner's deck, plus a VIP stateroom.
