Built by Sunseeker in 2018, 35.2m/115.5ft superyacht INDEPENDENCE is a modern planing vessel in the Sunseeker 116 line and is constructed with a GRP hull and superstructure. Her naval architecture and interior and exterior styling was completed by the Sunseeker in-house teams at their facilities in Poole in the United Kingdom, and she is RINA Class and MCA Compliant. Luxury yacht INDEPENDENCE accommodates up to 12 guests over five en-suite cabins, and there is a crew of five to ensure that everything runs smoothly on board.

EXTERIOR

From the lower deck swim platform guests have access to the main deck aft, where a C-shaped sofa warps around two large square tables ideal for alfresco dining. Farther forward, there is a wet bar with three stools, ideally placed to serve guests resting in the interior lounge or dining outside.

The flybridge offers a large entertainment area with a bimini shade that can be opened up to the sunshine at the touch of a button. The forward helm station controls are placed to starboard with an L-shaped sofa behind, and opposite there is a co-pilot seat and a wet bar with four stools. The lounge setting behind is comprised of an aft-facing sofa and a forward-facing U-shaped sofa around a coffee table, behind which there is a sunpad along the stern, with room for a Jacuzzi in between.

In addition to the shaded alfresco dining spaces, the foredeck places a C-shaped sofa and drinks table in front of the raised pilothouse. To either side of the bow, there is a symmetrical setting providing an L-shaped sofa, double-sized sunbed and a sofa-sunbed.

INTERIOR
The lower deck hosts the majority of the guest accommodation amidships, with the two twin cabins forward and the double cabins behind. The forward section contains the crew accommodation, and to the aft is the engine room followed by a large tender garage.

The main deck places the Master suite forward, followed by the main hallway and galley. The aft formal dining area is combined with the salon to create one large open space, where a group of 10 can celebrate a special occasion in elegant surroundings. The lounge has two sumptuous sofas and four armchairs facing in around a coffee table, with glass sliding doors to port and starboard for relaxation more closely connected to the surroundings.

Twin MTU 16V 2000 M96L diesel engines producing 2,640 HP create a top speed of 26 knots, a cruising speed of 19 knots and an economical speed of 12 knots, at which she has a range of 1,250 nautical miles.

Yacht Accommodation

The accommodation sleeps up to 12 guests in 5 en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. The crew of 5 will provide fast and efficient service throughout the cruise. ~ The Master suite on the main deck is accessed via an office space for greater privacy, and the bedroom is furnished with a port deck/vanity, a widescreen TV opposite the bed and two armchairs facing in around a table beside the windows to starboard. The forward bathroom has an enclosed toilet and sink, a central shower, his-and-hers sinks and a bathtub. ~ The double cabins are placed aft of amidships to port and starboard of the lower deck. Each is furnished with a desk, TV entertainment systems and walk-in wardrobes that lead to the en-suite bathroom, within which there is a toilet, sink and shower. ~ The twin cabins are placed forward of amidships to port and starboard of the lower deck. Each has a wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a toilet, sink and shower.
