Measuring 50 meters in length overall, superyacht CECILIA (project name) is a striking all-aluminium Wider 165' displacement craft, built by the Italian shipyard, Wider Yachts. Boasting elegant lines, sense of harmony and connection with the water, significant interior volume and exterior living space, luxury motor yacht CECILIA has been beautifully penned by Fulvio de Simoni, in partnership with Tilli Antonelli and the Wider design team. Her launch is in 2017. Accommodation onboard is offered in 6 cabins for 12 guests.

EXTERIOR
From the swim platform, guests can access the beach club/tender garage or the main deck aft, where there is a sofa along the stern for outdoor lounging and alfresco dining.

The upper deck aft is ideal for alfresco dining, with shade provided by the sundeck overhang. After a hearty meal, guests can settle into the C-shaped sofa along the stern to watch the passing scenery or chat over drinks at sunset.

Guests have plenty of room on the foredeck for stretching out, with a generous Jacuzzi forward of the helm station and two plush circular sofas looking out across the helipad on the bow.

Sun loungers are laid out across the sundeck aft while beneath the hardtop there is a port-side drinks table and bar. Opposite, an L-shaped lounge creates a casual space to dine alfresco out of the sunshine, while the forward section has an abundance of sun pads with a massive circular Jacuzzi at its centre.

INTERIOR

The lower deck contains an innovative submersible bay to the stern for driving in the tender. When empty, the area becomes a spacious beach club with a saltwater swimming pool. On each side, the bulwarks fold down to become terraces where guests can sunbather beside the water.

Forward of the beach club/tender garage is the engine room and the guest accommodation is placed amidships. The crew accommodation and facilities are placed within the bow.

On the main deck, the forward section contains a massive Master suite with an adjacent en-suite bathroom containing a tub, a private lounge and study, both with expansive side terraces.

Aft of the main foyer is the combined formal dining area and main salon, the former seating up to 10 guests in bright contemporary surroundings. The aft salon receives plenty of light from the full-height windows and guests are treated to three soft leather sofas around two coffee tables.

The upper deck forward layout contains the helm station, behind which is the relaxing contemporary skylounge. The interior provides a second dining area with a circular table and a nearby bar, while the seating near the aft sliding doors receives sunlight and excellent views throughout the day.

CECILIA boasts innovative submersible bay, a touch-and-go helipad, as well as a truly magnificent “Wider Beach”, one of the most spacious transom swim-and-sunbathing decks in its class, complete with indoor swimming pool. The “Beach” also converts to a garage that seamlessly accommodates the highly customizable Wider 32’ yacht tender, while a floating launching system facilitates entry/exit manoeuvres for the crew launching the tender.

She is fitted with diesel/electric propulsion system, which guarantees hugely reduced fuel consumption and nearly unprecedented range. The yacht can thus cruise using only the battery packs, in ZEM mode (Zero Emission Mode). With up to four diesel generators online, she can operate at a higher range of speeds, while maintaining limited specific consumptions. Also, the Wider 165’ is equipped with an AziPod propulsion system, reducing vibrations and providing ultra-smooth handling, with no rudders needed for manoeuvring, therefore draft is minimal.

Using hybrid diesel-electric engines, she is capable of a top speed of 14 knots and at an economical speed of 10 knots she has a maximum range of 5,400 nautical miles.

Yacht Accommodation

The accommodation sleeps a maximum of 12 guests over 6 cabins: 1 Master suite and 5 further guest cabins. The crew of 11 will ensure that every guest is well taken care of throughout the journey.
