The 73.50 metre displacement vessel was created by the leading Dutch shipyard, Amels with naval architecture by the yard's in-house team and exterior design by award-winning Tim Heywood. She was launched and delivered in 2016.

The AMELS 242 superyacht displays a streamlined, Tim Heywood design which makes her pleasantly recognisable in any marina.
