Don Shead was the naval architect firm involved in the technical nautical composition for 2J'S. Her interior design was conceived by Sunseeker Design. Don Shead is also associated with the yacht wider design collaboration for this boat. In 2007 she was formally launched with accolade in Poole and following sea trials and detailing was thereafter passed on to the yacht owner. Sunseeker International completed their new build motor yacht in the United Kingdom. Her core hull was constructed with composite.
