Diana Yacht Design was the naval architect involved in the formal vessel composition for ELEANOR ALLEN. Diana Yacht Design is also associated with the yacht general design work for this boat. In 1979 she was actually launched to accolade in Aalsmeer and post sea trials and detailing was thereafter handed over to the owner. The Feadship De Vries Shipyard completed their new build motor yacht in the Netherlands. A reasonable feeling is manifested with a widest beam (width) of 7 m / 23 feet. With a 2.5m (8.2ft) draught (maximum depth) she is fairly shallow. The material steel was used in the building of the hull of the motor yacht. Her superstructure above deck is created out of aluminium. In 1999 further refit work and modernisation was also performed.
