Sleeping 8 passengers and 7 crew, motor yacht ELEANOR ALLEN was previously called Karina C; Karina; Mia Elise; Subconscious; Celine Ashley. The naval architect which delivered this yacht's design details with respect to the yacht was Diana Yacht Design.
Building & Yacht Design for Luxury Yacht ELEANOR ALLEN
Diana Yacht Design was the naval architect involved in the formal vessel composition for ELEANOR ALLEN. Diana Yacht Design is also associated with the yacht general design work for this boat. In 1979 she was actually launched to accolade in Aalsmeer and post sea trials and detailing was thereafter handed over to the owner. The Feadship De Vries Shipyard completed their new build motor yacht in the Netherlands. A reasonable feeling is manifested with a widest beam (width) of 7 m / 23 feet. With a 2.5m (8.2ft) draught (maximum depth) she is fairly shallow. The material steel was used in the building of the hull of the motor yacht. Her superstructure above deck is created out of aluminium. In 1999 further refit work and modernisation was also performed.

Installed with two CATERPILLAR diesel main engines, ELEANOR ALLEN is able to reach a maximum speed of 13 knots. Coupled to the ELEANOR ALLEN engines are twin screw propellers. She also has an economical range of 3500 miles whilst underway at her cruising speed of 12 knots. Her total HP is 1040 HP and her total Kilowatts are 765. Concerning bow thruster maneuverability she was built with Schottel. As for the yacht’s stabalisers she was supplied with Vosper.
