This 47 metre (154 foot) luxury yacht was crafted at Swiftships in 1999. Motor Yacht CHEROSA is a large superyacht. New Build & Design of Luxury Yacht CHEROSA
Swiftships was the naval architecture company involved in the formal vessel design work for CHEROSA. Also the company Swiftships and Tim Borland expertly worked on this venture. Interior designer Jack Franzen & Associates/Rhoda LChase was commissioned for the creative internal styling. the United States is the country that Swiftships built their new build motor yacht in. After her official launch in 1999 in Morgan City La she was thereafter handed over to the owner after sea trials and testing. A fairly large area is manifested with a widest beam (width) of 8.53 metres or 28 feet. With a 2.74m (9ft) draught (maximum depth) she is fairly shallow. The material aluminium was used in the building of the hull of the motor yacht. Her superstructure above deck is created from aluminium. In 2004 further refitting and updating was additionally performed.

The 12V 396 TE94 engine installed in the motor yacht is made by MTU. Coupled to the CHEROSA engines are twin screw propellers. The main engine of the yacht gives 2250 horse power (or 1656 kilowatts).
