Building & Yacht Design with respect to Luxury Yacht BOWIE
Us Navy was the naval architect involved in the professional superyacht composition for BOWIE. Us Navy is also associated with the yacht general design work for this boat. In 1944 she was actually launched to celebration in Greenport Ny and post sea trials and final completion was then passed on to the owner. Greenport Basin Shipyard completed their new build motor yacht in the United States. The main hull was built out of pine wood wooden with oak wooden frames. The motor yacht superstructure is made extensively using fir. With a width of 7.53 m or 24.7 feet BOWIE has reasonable internal space. A fairly shallow draught of 2.44m (8ft) limits the list of certain ports she can visit, taking into account their minimum characteristics.
