Construction & Yacht Design of Luxury Yacht ASTRAL STAR
Franco Anselmi Boretti was the naval architecture company involved in the formal superyacht plans for ASTRAL STAR. Also the company Franco Anselmi Boretti and Luigi Ghisleri expertly collaborated on this venture. Italy is the country that decasa Yachts completed their new build motor yacht in. After formal launch in 1975 in Viareggio the boat was afterwards passed over to the owner having completed sea trials and testing. A moderate area is achieved with a maximum beam (width) of 7.07 metres or 23.2 feet. With a 2.35m (7.7ft) draught (maximum depth) she is reasonably shallow. The material steel was used in the building of the hull of the motor yacht. Her superstructure over the hull is created out of steel. Over the deck of ASTRAL STAR she is 35.42 (116.2 ft) in length. In 1996 further refitting and updating was in addition performed.
