Motor yacht Flightless is a steel-hull ex-navy patrol vessel, refitted for comfort and functionality. Owned and operated by experienced skippers and commercial divers, Sean Ellis and Maria Kuster, Flightless has supported conservation, biosecurity, and cultural initiatives across Aotearoa for over a decade. At 26.82 meters long with a 6.1-meter beam, Flightless offers spacious decks for equipment transport, dive operations, and gear staging. Below deck, it accommodates up to 22 people with comfortable live-aboard facilities. The vessel features a 6-ton bollard pull, twin Cummins engines, and robust machinery, ensuring endurance and reliability for long expeditions.
