De Voogt Naval Architects was the naval architecture company involved in the professional vessel plans for NORTHERN LIGHT. Also the company De Voogt Naval Architects expertly worked on this venture. Interior designer John Munford was responsible for the internal internal styling. In 2001 she was actually launched with celebration in Kaag and post sea trials and detailing was afterwards delivered to the owner who commissioned her. The Feadship Royal Van Lent Shipyard completed their new build motor yacht in the Netherlands. Her main hull was constructed with steel. The motor yacht superstructure is made mostly from aluminium.
