Motor yacht SCINTILLA MARIS is a 45.6 m (149'6") Damen Maaskant yacht originally built as a fishing trawler in 1988 in The Netherlands. She has now been converted into a modern expedition yacht with hybrid propulsion and features exterior design and naval architecture by Scheepsbouwkundig Bureau Herman Jansen BV, with interior design from Vripack.

EXTERIOR
The motor yacht started life as a single-prop fishing trawler before she underwent a conversion into a superyacht, with the hull being essentially recycled into the modern vessel. Her hull was fully stripped back to the bar metal and her interior, decking and propulsion system were all removed. After additional modifications to the hull and superstructure, all the metal surfaces were sandblasted, primed and sealed.

INTERIOR
She features a utilitarian interior design, with extra windows and portholes framed in brass added during her conversion, in keeping with her original design. The main deck features multiple interior and exterior areas for relaxation, including a private office located on her bridge deck.

Yacht Accommodation

She can comfortably sleep up to 10 guests across four double staterooms on the lower deck. These consist of a full-beam owner’s suite amidships underneath the original hatch into the fish hold.
