This motor yacht GALU is a 53 m 174 (foot) noteworthy steel superyacht which was produced from the keel up by Benetti Yachts and devised in the office of Fratelli Benetti. Accommodating 12 passengers and 13 professional crew, motor yacht GALU was previously called Fb 115; Embark. The naval architecture office that made the plans and general arrangement on the yacht is Fratelli Benetti. Moreover, her interior designing was sucessful creation of Bannenberg Designs Ltd.

Fratelli Benetti was the naval architect firm involved in the professional nautical composition for GALU. Her interior design was completed by Bannenberg Designs Ltd. Fratelli Benetti is also associated with the yacht wider design collaboration for this yacht. Italy is the country that Benetti Yachts completed their new build motor yacht in. After the official launch in 1977 in Viareggio the boat was handed over to the happy owner following sea trials and testing. Her core hull was built out of steel. The motor yacht main superstructure is made predominantly using aluminium. With a beam of 9.42 m / 30.9 feet GALU has spacious room. She has a deep draught of 3.05m (10ft). She had refit maintenance and modification completed by 2007.

Fitted with twin MAK diesel engines, GALU can reach a maximum speed of 16 knots. GALU is propelled by twin screw propellers.
