A General Description of Motor Yacht CONSTELLATION

This motor yacht CONSTELLATION is a 40 m 130 (foot) well sized composite luxury yacht which was made at Westport Shipyard and devised by William Garden and Gregory C Marshall. Accommodating 10 passengers and 7 qualified crew, motor yacht CONSTELLATION was formerly 1521; Westport 1521 as her shipyard project name or yacht title. Launched to celebration by 2007 this boat’s interior design and decor exhibits the perspicacious tendencies from Pacific Custom Interiors and their approach to interior yacht design.

Motor yacht CONSTELLATION’s owners had previously owned around fifteen boats before commissioning the 130 ft Westport.

The New Build & Naval Architecture of Luxury Yacht CONSTELLATION

William Garden was the naval architect firm involved in the technical nautical plans for CONSTELLATION. Her interior design was realised by Pacific Custom Interiors. William Garden and Gregory C Marshall is also associated with the yacht wider design collaboration for this boat. the United States is the country that Westport Shipyard completed their new build motor yacht in. After the formal launch in 2007 in Westport Wa the boat was thereafter passed over to the happy owner following sea trials and testing. The hull was built out of composite. The motor yacht superstructure is fabricated for the most part with composite. With a beam of 7.92 metres or 26 feet CONSTELLATION has reasonable room. A reasonably shallow draught of 1.83m (6.6ft) determines the number of harbours she can visit, depending on their individual characteristics.

M/Y CONSTELLATION Engineering Figures & Range & Speed:

Fitted with twin MTU diesel engines, CONSTELLATION will reach a high speed of 29 knots. For propulsion CONSTELLATION has twin screw propellers (schaffran 5 blades). She also has an efficient range of 3450 miles whilst sailing at her cruising speed of 24 knots. Her total HP is 5470 HP and her total Kilowatts are 4025. Regarding thrusters she was fitted with Wesmar. With respect to the ship’s stabalisers she uses Naiad.
