A General Description of Motor Yacht ASTRA DEE

This motor yacht ASTRA DEE is a 31 metre 101 (ft) well proportioned aluminium vessel which was made by Denison Marine and devised from the design board of Joe Langlois. The firm of naval architecture whom authored the drawings on this ship was Joe Langlois. In addition, the interior designing was sucessful creation of Paola D Smith.

Joe Langlois was the naval architect firm involved in the formal superyacht plans for ASTRA DEE. Her interior design was completed by Paola D Smith. Joe Langlois is also associated with the yacht wider design collaboration for this boat. the United States is the country that Denison Marine constructed their new build motor yacht in. After the official launch in 1991 in Dania Fl the boat was thereafter released to the yacht owner after final finishing. A reasonable feeling is achieved with a widest beam (width) of 6.37 metres / 20.9 feet. With a 1.68m (5.5ft) draught (maximum depth) she is reasonably shallow. The material aluminium was used in the building of the hull of the motor yacht. Her superstructure above deck is created with the use of aluminium. In 1994 further refitting and updating was in addition performed.
