Originating from the Amels Yachts (Of The Damen Shipyard Group) shipyard in the Netherlands the TZARINA is 50 metre 164 (foot) in length. Launched to celebration by 1997 her reasonably modern interior design demonstrates the design know how from Terence Disdale Design and their approach to interior yacht design. Superyacht TZARINA is able to accommodate up to 11 guests with 12 professional crew. The old, former or build project names were Tigre D'or; Tigre Dos; Teddy. She can attain a top speed of 16 knots.

Amels was the naval architecture company involved in the professional superyacht composition for TZARINA. Also the company Amels and Terence Disdale Design skillfully collaborated on this undertaking. Interior designer Terence Disdale Design was responsible for the overall interior styling. Built by Amels Yachts (Of The Damen Shipyard Group) this vessel was fabricated in the recognised yachting country the Netherlands. She was successfully launched in Makkum in 1997 before being handed over to the owner. Her main hull was crafted from steel. The motor yacht main superstructure is made mostly with aluminium. With a beam of 9 m / 29.5 feet TZARINA has spacious size. A fairly deep draught of 3.1m (10.2ft) limits the amount of harbours she can enter, contingent on their individual characteristics. She had refit maintenance and changes carried out by 2008.

The KTA-38-M2 engine powering the yacht is produced by CUMMINS. For propulsion TZARINA has twin screw propellers. The engine of the yacht creates 1200 horse power (or 883 kilowatts). She is equiped with 2 engines. The sum thrust for the yacht is therefore 2400 HP or 1766 KW. As far as stabalisers are concerned she uses Vosper. The bow thrusters are Holland Roer.
