This sailing yacht TIMBERWIND is a 30 metre 100 (ft) well sized wooden boat which was by Victor le and conceived from the design board of Victor Cole. The well sized twin masted schooner TIMBERWIND is a very cleverly designed United States built superyacht which was launched to praise in 1931. Accommodating 20 passengers and 5 crew members, sailing yacht TIMBERWIND used to be Portland Pilot. The naval architect that made her plans and general arrangement in respect of this ship was Victor Cole. She could be considered a classic twin masted schooner.

Victor Cole was the naval architect involved in the technical superyacht composition for TIMBERWIND. Victor Cole is also associated with the yacht general design work for this boat. In 1931 she was formally launched to triumph in Portland Or and following sea trials and final completion was afterwards handed over to the new owner. Victor le completed their new build sailing yacht in the United States. A moderate feeling is brought about with a total beam (width) of 5.7 m / 18.7 ft. With a 3m (9.8ft) draught (maximum depth) she is fairly deep. The material wooden was used in the building of the hull of the sailing yacht. Her superstructure over the hull is created out of wood. Over the deck of TIMBERWIND she is 21.34 (70 ft) in length.
