A General Description of Motor Yacht SQUALO

This 35 metre (117 foot) luxury yacht was created at Azimut Yachts in 2005. Motor Yacht SQUALO is a well sized superyacht. The naval architect that made the plans and general arangement in respect of the yacht is Carlo Galeazzi. The original interior design and styling is by Carlo Galeazzi. Luxury yacht SQUALO is a good looking yacht that can accommodate a total of 10 guests on board and has a total of 5 crew members.

Build & Designing for Luxury Yacht SQUALO

Carlo Galeazzi was the naval architect firm involved in the professional vessel plans for SQUALO. Also the company Carlo Galeazzi skillfully worked on this project. Interior designer Carlo Galeazzi was selected for the internal internal styling. Italy is the country that Azimut Yachts built their new build motor yacht in. After official launch in 2005 in Viareggio the boat was handed over to the yacht owner following sea trials. A reasonable proportion is manifested with a maximum beam (width) of 7.4 m or 24.3 feet. With a 2.04m (6.69ft) draught (maximum depth) she is shallow. The material composite was used in the building of the hull of the motor yacht. Her superstructure above deck is built from composite.

The 16V 2000 M93 engine installed in the motor yacht is made by MTU. Connected to her MTU engine(s) are twin screw propellers. The main engine of the yacht produces 2434 horse power (or 1490 kilowatts). She is equiped with 2 engines. The combined output for the boat is accordingly 4864 HP / 2980 KW.
