This motor yacht PASSION FOR EXCELLENCE is a 34 metre 112 (ft) well proportioned composite ship which was made at Westport Shipyard and her design plans were devised by Jack Sarin and Westport and Taylor Olson. The balanced superyacht has been brought about with naval architects Jack Sarin and Westport and Taylor Olson. Westport Yachts produced the interior design and styling.

Construction & Yacht Design for Luxury Yacht PASSION FOR EXCELLENCE

Jack Sarin was the naval architect involved in the formal nautical plans for PASSION FOR EXCELLENCE. Her interior design was conceived by Westport Yachts. Jack Sarin and Westport and Taylor Olson is also associated with the yacht general design work for this yacht. In 2006 she was actually launched with accolade in Westport Wa and following sea trials and finishing touches was thereafter handed over to the owner. Westport Shipyard completed their new build motor yacht in the United States. A moderate proportion is achieved with a widest beam (width) of 7.13 m / 23.9 ft. With a 1.68m (5.6ft) draught (maximum depth) she is reasonably shallow. The material composite was used in the building of the hull of the motor yacht. Her superstructure above deck is created with the use of composite.

Installed with two MTU diesel main engines, PASSION FOR EXCELLENCE is able to reach a high speed of 25 knots. Connected to her MTU engine(s) are twin screw propellers (michigan 5 blades). She also has an economical range of 2500 nautical miles whilst sailing at her cruising speed of 22 knots. Her total HP is 4000 HP and her total Kilowatts are 2984. With respect to bow thrusters she was fitted with Wesmar. As for the yacht’s stabalisers she was supplied with Naiad.
