This 38 metre (125 ft) luxury yacht was built by Moonen Shipyards Bv in 2009. Motor Yacht MOONEN 124 is a well proportioned superyacht. The firm of naval architecture responsible for the drawings with respect to the yacht was Stolk Marimecs and Rene Van Der Velden Designs. This boat's interior design work is the work of the talented Art-Line Interiors.

Build & Design of Luxury Yacht MOONEN 124

Stolk Marimecs was the naval architect firm involved in the formal nautical design work for MOONEN 124. Also the company Stolk Marimecs and Rene Van Der Velden Designs successfully collaborated on this project. Interior designer Art-Line Interiors was charged with the creative interior styling. In 2009 she was formally launched with accolade in 's Hertogenbosch and following sea trials and final completion was afterwards handed over to the owner. Moonen Shipyards Bv completed their new build motor yacht in the Netherlands. A fairly large proportion is achieved with a total beam (width) of 8.5 metres / 28 feet. With a 2.5m (8ft) draught (maximum depth) she is reasonably shallow. The material steel was used in the building of the hull of the motor yacht. Her superstructure over the hull is created with the use of aluminium.

The 16V 2000 M60 engine installed in the motor yacht is made by MTU. She is driven by twin screw propellers. The main engine of the ship gives 1072 horse power (or 800 kilowatts). She is fitted with 2 engines. The combined output for the yacht is accordingly 2144 HP or 1600 KW.
