A General Description of Motor Yacht MEDUSE
Feadship completed the building motor yacht MEDUSE in 1996. As such, she has the distinction of being built country of the Netherlands. MEDUSE had her naval architecture and design created by De Voogt Naval Architects and De Voogt Naval Architects. This superyacht MEDUSE can sleep overnight a maximum of 12 passengers all told aboard and 15 qualified crew. Completed in the year of 1996 the comparatively modern interior decoration proffers the traditional interpretations of the design work of Mcmillen Of New York.
Back in 2001 MEDUSE was the biggest yacht owned by Paul Allen. The other yacht he owned at that time was another Feadship, Charade (46.88 m) Paul Allen who is the Microsoft co-founder now owns Tatoosh and Octopus.
The Build & Designing of Luxury Yacht MEDUSE
De Voogt Naval Architects was the naval architect firm involved in the technical nautical plans for MEDUSE. Also the company De Voogt Naval Architects expertly collaborated on this project. Interior designer Mcmillen Of New York was commissioned for the internal interior ambience. the Netherlands is the country that The Feadship De Vries Shipyard completed their new build motor yacht in. After formal launch in 1996 in Aalsmeer she was released to the proud new owner following final finishing. The hull was constructed with steel. The motor yacht superstructure is fabricated extensively using aluminium. With a beam of 10.55 metres or 34.6 feet MEDUSE has spacious interior. She has a deep draught of 3.2m (10.5ft). She had refit improvement and alteration work carried out by 2006.
Engineering And The Speed The M/Y MEDUSE is Able To Achieve:
The 3516 DITA engine installed in the motor yacht is built by CATERPILLAR. Connected to her Caterpillar engine(s) are twin screw propellers. The engine of the ship produces 1710 horse power (or 1258 kilowatts). She is fitted with 2 engines. The sum output for the boat is accordingly 3420 HP or 2517 KW. With respect to stabalisers she uses Vosper.
With Superyacht MEDUSE She Caters For Passenger Accommodation Layout:
Providing chambers for a limit of 12 welcome guests staying on board, the MEDUSE accommodates everyone in luxury. Under normal conditions she utilises approximately 15 proficient crew to maintain and sail.
