Motor yacht MARIA PIA is the second hull in the AB Yacht's 140-foot series. Like her sister OXY ZEN, the sleek performance yacht MARIA PIA can cruise above 50 knots. She was shortlisted as a finalist for the World Superyacht Awards 2009 by Boat International.

The Build & Designing of Luxury Yacht MARIA PIA

Studio Arnaboldi was the naval architect firm involved in the formal nautical plans for MARIA PIA. Her interior design was completed by Guido De Groot Design. Studio Arnaboldi and Ab Yachts is also associated with the yacht wider design collaboration for this yacht. Created by Fipa Italiana Yachts - Ab Yachts this vessel was built in the yacht producing country of Italy. She was successfully launched in Massa in 2008 before being transferred to the owner. The core hull was built out of kevlar / carbon. The motor yacht main superstructure is fabricated extensively using composite. With a beam of 8 m / 26.24 ft MARIA PIA has fairly large interior. A shallow draught of 1.3m (4.27ft) selects the list of overall harbours she can enter, contingent on their individual depth at low tide.
