A General Description of Motor Yacht LIFE SAGA

Being built by the Heesen Yachts shipyard in the Netherlands the LIFE SAGA is 42 m 139 (ft) in length. Finished and launched in 1994 her reasonably modern interior design showcases the stately ambience of Diaship Design / Art-Line Interiors (Refit). Luxury motor yacht LIFE SAGA has received a refit by Holland Jachtbouw under the supervision of naval architect Azure and interior design studio Artline. The refit included modification to the yachts interior and exterior plus the installation of a 13 zone Lantic Premium System which provides a range of audio and visual entertainment as well as lighting and curtain remote control for each zone.

Construction & Naval Architecture of Luxury Yacht LIFE SAGA

Diaship Design was the naval architect involved in the formal vessel design work for LIFE SAGA. Also the company Diaship Design and Frank Mulder (Azure Naval Architects-Refit) skillfully collaborated on this venture. Interior designer Diaship Design / Art-Line Interiors (Refit) was charged with the overall interior styling. In 1994 she was formally launched with celebration in Oss and post sea trials and final completion was afterwards delivered to the new owner. Heesen Yachts completed their new build motor yacht in the Netherlands. Her main hull was constructed with aluminium. The motor yacht superstructure is fabricated predominantly using aluminium. With a beam of 7.6 metres / 24.93 feet LIFE SAGA has moderate size. A fairly deep draught of 3.85m (12.63ft) affects the amount of certain harbours she can enter, taking into account their particular depth at low tide. She had refit improvement and alteration work completed in 2008.

Engineering And The Crusie Speed That M/Y LIFE SAGA Can Reach:

“Dutch and German shipyards are recognised as the best in the world. We are one of the three top shipyards in the Netherlands, and one of the best in the world. We are also renowned for technology, innovation and modern cutting-edge design. If comparing ourselves to car manufacturers, we are the equivalent of Aston Martin rather than Rolls-Royce.” - Mark Cavendish, the Commercial Director of world-renowned superyacht builder Heesen Yachts
