This sailing yacht KASKELOT is a 47 m 155 (foot) capacious wooden ship which was created at J Ring-Andersen Skibsvaerft and her design is by J Ring-Andersen. A capacious three masted barque KASKELOT is a particularily high quality Denmark built yacht which was launched to celebration in 1948. Sleeping 12 passengers and 18 crew members, sailing yacht KASKELOT was formerly Kaskelot; Arctic Explorer; Anne-Marie; Anne-Marie Grenius. The yacht is a classic three masted barque. This balanced superyacht has been brought about by naval architects J. Ring-Andersen.

The Shipyard Work & Naval Architecture of Luxury Yacht KASKELOT

J Ring-Andersen was the naval architecture company involved in the technical vessel composition for KASKELOT. J Ring-Andersen is also associated with the yacht wider design collaboration for this boat. In 1948 she was formally launched to celebration in Svendborg and post sea trials and detailing was thereafter handed over to the yacht owner. J Ring-Andersen Skibsvaerft completed their new build sailing yacht in Denmark. The core hull was built out of wooden. The sailing yacht superstructure component is fabricated largely from wood. The total length of the luxury yacht on deck is 42 (137.8 ft). With a beam of 8.53 m / 28 ft KASKELOT has fairly large internal space. A reasonably deep draught of 3.81m (12.5ft) determines the number of ports she can enter into, contingent on their individual depth at low tide.
