A General Description of Motor Yacht JOALMI

This motor yacht JOALMI is a 45 m 148 (ft) large steel vessel which was created at Benetti Yachts and designed by Fratelli Benetti and Stefano Natucci. Sleeping 12 passengers and 8 crew, motor yacht JOALMI was formerly Fb 211 as her project name or yacht title. Finished and launched by 1991 her reasonably modern interior design proffers the traditional approach emanating from the boards of Terence Disdale Design.

Motor yacht SHAMWARI and her sister ship JOALMI (launched one year later) were the first significant rewards of Benetti's ongoing Outfitting Improvement Program (OIP) which is a product refinement started in 1985 when the Azimut Group was acquired the Benetti yard. The primary aims of OIP were to attract new and repeat clients by combining the best elements of Benetti's traditional work with new concepts and technology.

Fratelli Benetti was the naval architect firm involved in the formal superyacht composition for JOALMI. Her interior design was realised by Terence Disdale Design. Fratelli Benetti and Stefano Natucci is also associated with the yacht general design work for this yacht. Italy is the country that Benetti Yachts completed their new build motor yacht in. After her official launch in 1991 in Viareggio the boat was released to the owner following sea trials and testing. Her hull was crafted from steel. The motor yacht superstructure component is fabricated extensively using aluminium. With a width of 8.81 m / 28.9 feet JOALMI has spacious size. A reasonably shallow draught of 2.87m (9.4ft) limits the list of worldwide ports she can enter, depending on their minimum characteristics.

M/Y JOALMI Main Engines & Performance:

Fitted with twin MTU diesel main engines, JOALMI is able to attain a maximum speed of 20 knots. Coupled to the JOALMI engines are twin screw propellers.
