The yacht's wider design collaboration came from W Starling Burgess. The formal naval architect drawings are a work of W Starling Burgess. In 1924 she was formally launched with accolade in Essex Ma and following sea trials and detailing was afterwards handed over to the yacht owner. John F James completed their new build sailing yacht in the United States. The core hull was built out of pine wood wooden with oak wooden frames.
