The yacht's general design work came from De Voogt Naval Architects. The technical naval architecture plans are a creation of De Voogt Naval Architects. Motor Yacht HIGH CHAPARRAL received her stylish interior designing from the interior design firm of Terence Disdale Design. In 2005 she was formally launched with accolade in Aalsmeer and following sea trials and detailing was then passed on to the new owner. The Feadship De Vries Shipyard completed their new build motor yacht in the Netherlands. Her core hull was built out of steel. The motor yacht superstructure component is fabricated mostly from aluminium. With a beam of 9.8 m or 30.5 ft HIGH CHAPARRAL has fairly large room. She has a shallow draught of 2.6m (8.53ft). She had refit improvement and modification carried out in 2005.

On October 2009 HIGH CHAPARRAL cruised Vallauris, in France. This motor yacht also navigated the cruising ground around Département des Alpes-Maritimes during Sept 2009. Heinen & Hopman was the outfit which installed the air con on the yacht. HIGH CHAPARRAL features a teak deck.
