GibSea 43 Mediterranean, Greece bareboat charter | From EUR€ 2,000 /wk
Designed for family cruising, this new range sets new standards of comfort at sea. Real innovations can be found aboard, as much on deck as in the cockpit, or in the living accommodations. Three areas where you are overwhelmed by the quality and the high level of finish which transform life aboard into sheer pleasure. Though the architecture has allowed large volumes and very spacious cabins to be created, its hull shape remains in proportion, enabling sailing performance levels worthy of a real yacht.
The floorplans of the GS 43 is perhaps the most flexible of all comparable floorplans available. A standard tri cabin design with an optional fourth cabin that converts in minutes separates this 43 footer from all the rest. The stacked bunks to starboard and aft of the forward cabin V- berth accommodates two additional family or friends in a separate cabin. When not in use, the bunks convert into a seating bureau for the forward V- berth cabin with separate private head. The "U" shaped galley and salon are opposite one another midship. The galley area offers sufficient storage for non perishable items and galley ware. A large icebox with refrigeration, counter top space for meal preparation and storage work well for feeding the crew. The aft facing nav station to starboard utilizes the salon bench seating is tucked out of the way but very useful for charting work. The aft twin cabins are large and comfortable with hanging lockers and portholes in the stern for increased ventilation. No less that 21 hatches and portlights add excellent natural lighting and ventilation throughout the entire length of the vessel. A well thought out floorplan.
The GS 43 deckplan carries all of the standard features of the Gib'Sea line. The twin wheel configuration in the cockpit greatly enhances piloting in all regards from sailing to docking. The cockpit coamings are low profile and encourage easy ingress and egress . The walkout transom also encourages water activities.
The maintenance schedule of the GS 43 is simple based on the separate technical area for electrical and plumbing components The AC and DC panels are separate from one another. Engine access is outstanding.
