Willem De Vries Lentsch Jr was the naval architect involved in the technical superyacht design work for ELENVAR. In 1988 she was actually launched with celebration in Viareggio and post sea trials and final completion was thereafter passed on to the owner. La Nuova Carp-Navi completed their new build motor yacht in Italy. Her main hull was built out of steel. The motor yacht superstructure component is made mostly with aluminium. With a beam of 7.53 m / 24.7 feet ELENVAR has reasonable interior. She has a reasonably shallow draught of 2.59m (8.5ft). She had refit maintenance and modification completed in 1998.
