In 1988 she was actually launched with celebration in Viareggio and post sea trials and final completion was thereafter passed on to the owner. La Nuova Carp-Navi completed their new build motor yacht in Italy. Her main hull was built out of steel. The motor yacht superstructure component is made mostly with aluminium. With a beam of 7.53 m / 24.7 feet ELENVAR has reasonable interior. She has a reasonably shallow draught of 2.59m (8.5ft). She had refit maintenance and modification completed in 1998.
