A General Description of Motor Yacht ECLIPSE
This motor yacht ECLIPSE is a 43 m 141 (ft) ample steel ship which was constructed at The Feadship De Vries Shipyard and her design plans were devised by De Voogt Naval Architects and Luiz De Basto Designs. Sleeping 10 passengers and 10 crew, motor yacht ECLIPSE was formerly 646 Sea Sedan; Kahalani. This gracious superyacht has been envisaged with a naval architect called De Voogt Naval Architects and Luiz De Basto Designs. Terence Disdale Design acted on the designing of the interior.
Shipyard Work & Designing with respect to Luxury Yacht ECLIPSE
De Voogt Naval Architects was the naval architect involved in the technical nautical design work for ECLIPSE. Her interior design was realised by Terence Disdale Design. De Voogt Naval Architects and Luiz De Basto Designs is also associated with the yacht general design work for this boat. the Netherlands is the country that The Feadship De Vries Shipyard built their new build motor yacht in. After her official launch in 1993 in Aalsmeer she was released to the owner following sea trials. The hull was constructed with steel. The motor yacht superstructure component is made largely using aluminium. With a beam of 8.41 metres / 27.6 ft ECLIPSE has fairly large size. She has a fairly shallow draught of 2.9m (9.5ft). She had refit improvement and modification undertaken by 2001.
M/Y ECLIPSE Engineering Figures And Speed:
Fitted with twin CATERPILLAR diesel main engines, ECLIPSE will reach a top speed of 16 knots. Coupled to the ECLIPSE engines are twin screw propellers. She also has an economical range of 4000 miles whilst underway at her cruise speed of 14 knots. Her total HP is 1550 HP and her total Kilowatts are 1141. As for thrusters she was built with Dahne. As for the yacht’s stabalisers she uses Vosper.
