The chieftain is a fin keel design, built in NZ by the Cook Brothers. The chieftain is quite roomy below decks and sails well for the volume. The rig (sloop) is pratical rather than high performance, therefore easily handled.

Yacht Charter Accommodation
Accommodation is in three private cabins. The forepeak is a v-berth for two; forward port is a double; aft is a double. The salon settee has the capability of converting into another single berth. There is one head with a hot and cold shower. Ideally for a comfortable charter, we recommend a maximum of 6 people.
Charter Amenities and Extras
The Chieftain has slab and furling sails. Electronic equipment includes wind instruments, depth sounder, anchor winch, VHF, radio and CD. The galley is fully equipped with fridge, oven and grill. There is a tender and on deck BBQ.
