This 116 metre (380 foot) luxury yacht was developed at Hellenic Shipyards in 1981. Motor Yacht ATLANTIS II is a colossal superyacht. The naval architect who actualised this yacht's design with respect to this ship was Maierform and Prof. Cesare Pinau. Her initial interior was the work of the talented Michael Sumner. Motor yacht Atlantis II is a sister ship to the older yacht called Issham Al Baher, which was originally called Atlantis, built in 1973 which Stavros Niarchos gave to King Fahd. Atlantis II remains in the hands of the Niarchos family and is often tied stern-to in Monaco’s Port Hercule.

Build & Naval Architecture with respect to Luxury Yacht ATLANTIS II

Maierform was the naval architecture company involved in the technical superyacht composition for ATLANTIS II. Also the company Maierform and Prof Cesare Pinau expertly worked on this project. Interior designer Michael Sumner was commissioned for the internal interior ambience. Greece is the country that Hellenic Shipyards completed their new build motor yacht in. After formal launch in 1981 in Skaramanga she was passed over to the owner after final finishing. A impressive area is achieved with a total beam (width) of 14.45 m or 47.4 ft. With a 4.27m (14ft) draught (maximum depth) she is fairly deep. The material steel was used in the building of the hull of the motor yacht. Her superstructure above deck is fashioned from steel.
