The naval architect whom authored this yacht's design on the yacht was De Voogt Naval Architects. Andre Guillaud was also the one who saw out her interior design.

The yacht's general design work came from De Voogt Naval Architects. The professional naval architect plans are the products of De Voogt Naval Architects. Motor Yacht ATHINA II received her stylish interior designing from the interior design office of Andre Guillaud. the Netherlands is the country that The Feadship Royal Van Lent Shipyard constructed their new build motor yacht in. After her formal launch in 1988 in Kaag the boat was released to the proud new owner after sea trials and testing. The core hull was built out of steel. The motor yacht superstructure is made extensively with aluminium. With a width of 8.26 metres / 27.1 feet ATHINA II has fairly large size. She has a fairly shallow draught of 2.83m (9.3ft). She had refit improvement and modification carried out in 2004.
