Andre Mauric was the naval architecture company involved in the professional superyacht plans for ALCYONE. Also the company Andre Mauric and Jean-Charles Nahon successfully collaborated on this undertaking. In 1985 she was formally launched to celebration in La Rochelle and following sea trials and detailing was then handed over to the owner. Ateliers Et Chantiers La Rochelle-Pallice completed their new build motor yacht in France. The main hull was built out of aluminium. The motor yacht superstructure component is fabricated largely from aluminium. With a width of 9 metres / 29.5 ft ALCYONE has spacious internal space.
