Luxury Sailing Yacht Ayacanora is a 72ft custom built yacht available for charter in the Virgin Islands of the Caribbean Sea. Recently remodeled to accommodate 4 guests in two comfortable cabins with ensuite bathrooms, her rich luxurious interior is furnished in the style of a period home. Ayacanora was built over a three year period and launched in 1981 and is name for the beautiful and willful heroine of the Charles Kingsley classic “Westward Ho”.

A beautiful staircase from the pilot house provides easy access to the salon. The large and comfortable Salon is the perfect place to relax and watch a movie after a day in the sun on comfortable lounges. The spacious dining are accommodates eight guests on a mirror polished mahogany oval table with gimbaled centre piece and is truly a beautiful setting for the scrumptious meals that will be enjoyed with family and friends during your charter.

With beautiful and spacious flush decks her 72ft length and 18ft beam give guests plenty of space to relax and unwind in the sunshine while they take in the views of the magnificent Caribbean Islands. Guests will enjoy relaxing under sail or if something more active is required Ayacanora is decked out with a host of water sport activities to ensure there is plenty to do. Water-skiing, wakeboarding and fishing are just some of the activities available and included in the price and available when you are not sailing.

Ayacanora’s professional crew of two will be on hand to ensure your safety and comfort as well as acting as your personal tour guides throughout your charter. Captain Mike has a 500 ton Masters license and 100 ton sailing endorsement. Captain Mike joined the Navy at the age of 18 and developed a passion for the ocean. He spent 10 years in the submarine service and 5 years in the Merchant Marine. First Mate and Chef Roberta holds a degree in Culinary Arts and Management and graduated cum laude as a certified chef. She is also a United States Coast Guard certified captain and was born in Washington State.

Yacht Charter Accommodation

Ayacanora previously offered three guest staterooms, but has recently undergone a remodel reducing the passenger capacity to a maximum of 4 guests. The two forward guest staterooms are being combined into a single room. The aft stateroom, which remains unchanged through the remodel, is furnished with a queen sized bed, and en suite bathroom.
