SARSEN Mjellem & Karlsen Yacht | From EUR€ 125,000 /wk

Built in 1970 as a North Atlantic survey vessel, motor yacht SARSEN is a 69-metre vessel with an ice-strengthened hull and a beam of 13 metres. Built by Mjellem & Karlsen, she underwent an extensive refurbishment in 1986 as well as in 2006. She can accommodate up to 17 guests in 8 cabins.

The original fishing nets have been removed and the stern of the Expedition Yacht has been modified to include a landing platform, a small swimming pool and a vast outdoor dining area with a barbecue.

There is an elegant dining room with surround music for a relaxed dining atmosphere aboard SARSEN, which was created by removing the walls of three of the original research laboratories.

The upper deck had the walls removed as well, thus creating a comfortable TV room adjacent to a large sun-lounge incorporating comfortable leather lounges.

SARSEN boasts an enclosed deck area with a bar for entertainment, cane furniture, a large TV with surround sound, touch screen music and karaoke system.

Some of the below deck cabins were redesigned to become spa rooms as well as massage rooms in order to provide Sarsen's guests with even more relaxation after a long day at sea and exploring the yacht's surroundings.

SARSEN, with her displacement steel hull, cruises at speeds of 11 knots with a maximum speed of 14 knots.

Yacht Charter Accommodation

SARSEN can accommodate 17 guests in 8 cabins. The Master cabin has a king size bed, shower and toilet. 4 Guest cabins have a single bed. 3 Guest cabins have a king size bed, shower and toilet. A Guest cabin has a king size bed, a single bed, shower and toilet. A Guest cabin has a king size bed and a single bed. SARSEN's cabins have been refurbished and fitted with beautiful en-suite bathrooms and comfortable double beds. The Owner stateroom features a large en-suite and a leather lounge area. SARSEN is fully air conditioned through out. The voltage onboard is 240 volts. Smoking is allowed on deck. SARSEN´s crew has a separate heads and shower. Guests are not allowed to bring pets onboard.

Charter Amenities and Extras

Additional facilities aboard SARSEN include: diving equipment for 10 passengers, a large fishing boat, the vessel's tender and gym equipment. Furthermore the vessel includes Fleet55 satellite system, high speed internet facilities and satellite television stations.
